Serving with Grateful Hearts
We at First Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC) are a mission-minded Body of Believers dedicated to serving our community.
As a "missionary" church, we remain in touch with the real needs around us and continue to answer Christ's call to action.
On Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, we're gathering to host a "Grateful Sunday" community meal for individuals who are homeless or facing food insecurity.
This event will take place off West 14th Street between Zinn Park and Carver Community Center, where we hope to feed and serve more than 900 individuals- not just with food, but with love, compassion, and hope.
WAYS TO SUPPORT
Help us serve a warm Thanksgiving-style meal by bringing a bulk dish such as turkey, greens, ham, or dessert.
Your contribution will help feed hundreds in our community.
Join us on-site to serve meals, assist with setup and cleanup, or deliver plates to elderly and disable neighbors.
Every hand helps!
Support Grateful Sunday by donating plates, utensils, drinks, or offering a financial gift to help purchase additional supplies.
